In each of the classes, in the LEARN portion you will learn key concepts about owning a tax preparation business. This teaching / learning will last 30-35 minutes per class.
In the DO portion, you will have 15-20 minutes – on your own working independently – to complete the exercises they give you. This is the “do” portion of the class. Following the exercises, the TaxBiz Launch team will come back to do live critiques of your work.
The RECEIVE portion will be bonuses, worksheets, and a couple of unannounced bonuses.
Additional Support in their Private Facebook Group: In addition to the classes, you will be invited to join a private Facebook Group. Is there a free DIY hack for doing this without paying for a course?
Staying true to who I am and trying to always make sure there is that option for the folks who aren’t quite ready or able to invest in a course like TaxBiz Launch to fast track themselves into this business (that is all a course does, fast track you…everything is available on the web but you just have to spend hours upon hours upon hours figuring it out and don’t have that support to say “yep, that’s right and that’s how it is done”), I want to give an option for a free “hack” at how to get some free education on starting your Tax Side Hustle.
Step 1– Sign up for the free videos from Tax Biz Launch and pay laser focused attention and soak in all the learning. Watch each video 2 times a least and take notes.
Step 2– Sign up to become a Volunteer Income Tax Preparer with your local VITA team for detailed tax prep training and supervision as you prepare taxes for people in spring of 2021. Becoming a VITA volunteer is literally on my list of goals for 2020 that I wrote back in early January. VITA training starts in the fall each year, so be sure to sign up with your local team to get notified of when they start training. My own mentor in my bookkeeping business got his start in this bookkeeping/tax profession by volunteering at a VITA volunteer on a military base. The rest is history for him. Now he has a business large enough that he recently hired his wife as a full time employee and has a team of bookkeepers.
